Like all events Kendal Poetry Festival 2021 (KPF) was hit hard by the current pandemic. The 2020 Festival was cancelled in March and the Directors couldn’t see a future for the festival. Fast forward 8 months and the entire festival has been reimagined.

Kendal Poetry Festival 2021 promises to be an online immersive experience like no other. The original 3 day festival of 16 poets has ballooned to 60+ Poets and counting; poets from all over the world who will be connected with festival goers online for 10 days.

To enhance the festival experience a festival survival kit has been sent in the post for all attendees. The kit includes: a Romney’s Kendal Mint Cake for energy, a Farrer’s tea bag to quench your thirst, a plaster for the sharp rhymes, a badge for honour, and an exclusive copy of the Festival Pamphlet for extra reading during the downtimes. An online members section will be available for ticket holders after the festival.
