Connecting communities with nature
Earnse is a new community destination on Walney Island in Barrow, designed to enable local communities engage more with nature through play, learning and shared experiences. With a vision to connect residents and visitors to the area’s extraordinary natural heritage, Earnse is helping nurture healthier, more resilient communities.
We created a flexible brand identity with six logo variations for its different areas — café, beach school, gardens, play, camping and community — all united by one cohesive visual language. Friendly, action-based messaging (eat at Earnse, learn at Earnse, grow at Earnse) ensures the brand invites participation and makes Earnse’s mission clear, consistent and engaging across every touchpoint.
Alongside the logos, we designed a suite of illustrative icons for each area. These elements are now being rolled out across signage, play equipment and more, helping bring the Earnse experience to life.
We’ve also been commissioned to design and build the Earnse website, which is currently in development and due to launch in 2026.
