Simply Repair South Lakes began in late 2017 as a series of pop up repair cafés in Kendal. The brainchild of Good Business Development Coach Karen Bentley-Brown – Simply Repair South Lakes has grown into a monthly repair café in Kendal; along with regular workshops, a repair directory and support in place to help others set up repair cafés in their communities.

With it’s small beginnings Simply Repair existed as a Facebook Group supported by a web page on Karen’s website. As the offerings increased the need for a website became clear. However, how to approach the website took a lot of discussion and exploration. Simply Repair South Lakes is run by a team of volunteers and the website needed not only to be easy to maintain, but also have the capacity to sell workshops and run a repair directory.

Lil Creative Studio were please to work in collaboration with Kayleigh at Remedy Design Studio on the website. The website is still a work in progress as the support to help other set up repair cafés is developed. Remember a website is never finished. It changes as grows as your business develops.
