Gailey is located on the banks of the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal, and offer access to some of the most breathtaking views and historical sites in the West Midlands. It is a popular stop for visitors who travel via car or boat.

British Waterways wanted to introduce these visitors to the sites around Gailey via a circular walking route; that covered both the towpath along the canal, as well as the gentle countryside meadows and lanes.

We were commissioned to work alongside an illustrator to produce a series of interpretation panels that would guide visitors along this route. A large panel was placed at the beginning / end of the walk illustrating the whole route, and 13 way markers were placed along the path; both guiding visitors, and informing them of the historical and natural sites around them.
