Cumbria Local History Federation is a community group committed to preserving and sharing the local history in Cumbria, the third largest county in the UK. The group consists of retired and amateur historians, and people interested in local history. Historical information is shared via talks and presentations across the county, as well as articles and the tri-annual CLHF Bulletin.

Cumbria Local History Federation wanted a brand identity that would bring the diverse areas of Cumbria together, they settled on a compass motif which not only points to the four areas of Cumbria but also signifies searching through history.

The brief for the website included the ability for the group to maintain the website themselves. Being able to manage and update your own information is essential for businesses today.

Our thanks to Claire Steele of Lil Creative Studio as our designer: her work with us has been of the highest quality.
