Carer Support South Lakes identifies the needs of unpaid Carers of any age and provides quality services, support and advocacy to promote their health and wellbeing.

Every brand identity has its own creation story. When designing for an individual it is easy to find their vision at the beginning. With a group, ie. a charity, the collective vision can take longer to define as everyone must come to an agreement.

The logo for Carer Support South Lakes was no different. The trustees had decided they wanted people in the centre of the C, but they were not sure how they should look. We illustrated pages, and pages of people; two adults, two kids, three adults, adults and kids, people with hair, people with faces, and people with bodies.

In the end the committee went with the original and neutral head and shoulder people icons. To make a choice sometimes you have to try every alternative to be sure of finding the correct one.

Along with the brand identity Carer Support South Lakes commissioned me to redo their website and communications literature.

Claire was the perfect fit to rebrand our charity she took time to find out what we were all about. The website is 100% better than our old one. But it wasn’t just the website, Claire produced new marketing material, logo, ID Badges, posters, leaflets, banners. All great quality.
We would recommend Claire as she has an ethical side that made such a difference for our organisation.
